The Zonta Club Of Mississauga

The Zonta Club of Mississauga is part of Zonta International…. a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together since 1919 to advance the status of women. Check our Zonta International link for full information.

Our Mississauga Club received its charter in 1966 and has been in continuous operation since that time. The Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month, from September to June, at Michael's Back Door Restaurant. These dinner meetings focus on fellowship and networking, may include a guest speaker with a focus on women's issues and give members an opportunity to participate in the business of Zonta at local, district and international levels.

Community Service
Individual Zonta clubs select, fund and participate in community projects which address issues such as women's economic self-sufficiency, legal equality, access to education and health, and eradicating violence. Mississauga members each contribute a few evenings a year to work at bingo, our primary means of raising charitable funds that we return to the community through our service projects, scholarships and awards programmes.

Membership Opportunities

Annual membership dues are currently $145.00, payable in May. These funds cover the Zonta International and District dues, and provide minimal operating funds for the Mississauga club. There is a one-time new member fee of $60.00. Dinner dues are $250.00, payable in four easy installments.
